Magasasa Istedgade is an authentic south Chinese cuisine with regional dishes from mainly Sichuan and Anhui Province. Sichuan is located in southwest China and known as the “heavenly country” due to its abundance of food and rich natural resources. The cuisine represents seven basic flavors; sour, pungent, sweet, bitter, aromatic and salty. The dishes are spicy and are often served with dried chili and pepper. Anhui is located west of the JiangSu province near Shanghai. This cuisine is mostly known for braising, stews and the use of wild herbs. We welcome you to a restaurant with food of high quality at reasonable prices. Our location at Istedgade is just across the Central Station in Copenhagen and very easy to access by foot. The restaurant is intimate and cozy and very suitable for dinner parties and business lunches.
